at Drinktec 2009.
This will comprise VARIVENT mixproof and single seat valve types, cleaning devices of our VARIPURE program, features of our T.VIS valve information system, now available with a new positioner, and the self-priming GEA Tuchenhagen-VARIFLOW centrifugal pump series TPS. And also the new T-smart valve series of GEA Tuchenhagen has been shown – from butterfly valves to mixproof valve types.

Here the focus of our shown products: VARIPURE cleaning devices: a complete range with static, rotating and orbital cleaners Small vessels up to large tanks with a diameter of 27m can be cleaned. The cleaners operate in a pressure range from 0,5 up to 90 bar, and a flow rate of 0,5 m³/h up to 67 m³/h. The available number of cleaner variants can be adjusted precisely to the predominant type of soiling and to defined cleaning cycles.
T.VIS P-20 – the new positioner
This product range, so far available for the well-known VARIVENT® modulating control valve, has been completed by the T.VIS P-20 positioner. For control loops in which, so far, a modulating control valve with a sophisticated positioner was too costly in terms of labor and time, we now offer a cost-effective and economical alternative to the previously known modulating control valves (with control cone as an option).
Self-priming GEA Tuchenhagen-VARIFLOW centrifugal pump series TPS
The new TPS series conveys products containing a large amount of gas. It is characterized by a low sound power level, high efficiency and optimal cleaning properties. This TPS series also permits evacuation of pipes on the suction side – just one pump only for CIP return and product conveying. The new TPS series is used for CIP return applications, for emptying tanks as well as for conveying products containing gas. The complete GEA Tuchenhagen program of normal-priming and self-priming centrifugal pumps comprises of ten different types in total, fine tuned in their range of performance.
T-smart: a new valve series of GEA Tuchenhagen
With the new T-smart valve series, GEA Tuchenhagen offers a solution with basic functions – favorably priced and designed for less complex tasks.
Our T-smart valve series is designed for basic functions; it is favorably priced and designed for less complex tasks. This valve series includes butterfly, single-seat, divert and mixproof valves.
The T-smart valve series is characterized by standardized products, while still offering the
necessary variations (e.g. body combinations, seals, feedback options). Clearly assigned item numbers simplify the selection and ordering process.
The T-smart seat valves stand out for their small, compact design. The resulting low weight enables easy handling and operation of the valve. Due to the innovative bayonet lock and the optimized component concept, the T-smart valve series sets new standards with respect to ease of maintenance. Seals can be replaced in next to no time with just a few turns of the hand. Special tools are not required. The bayonet lock also enables the valve to be dismantled easily without control air. T-smart seat valves are manufactured in sizes DN 25 – DN 100 and 1“ OD – 4“ OD.
The new T-smart butterfly valve series, made by GEA Tuchenhagen, is a cost-effective shut-off device in valve blocks and panels for product and CIP operation. The T-smart butterfly valve offers a wide range of advantages to the benefit of the user: hygienic design, ease of maintenance, reduced cleaning cycles, reduced installation and maintenance - achieving overall an economical production in the process plant. T-smart butterfly valves are manufactured in sizes DN 25 – DN 150 and 1“ OD – 4“ OD.
