STERICOM® Valves made by GEA Tuchenhagen achieve maximum product safety and product quality in aseptic and sterile process applications.
STERICOM® Valves seal hermetically and exclude product contamination from the ambient atmosphere. STERICOM® Valves offer unique design features and the highest quality in process valve technology.
STERICOM® 08 offers aseptic valve technology based on the proven VARIVENT® System. The valves can be equipped either with PTFEor stainless-steel bellows.
The characteristic feature of STERICOM® LongLife are the long service life of the metal bellows and the improved pressure and temperature resistance. This allows safe and steady production process over a long production period.
Hygienic, exterior design
When developing the STERICOM® Valve series, special attention was paid to the hygienic exterior design: The closed lantern and all liquid draining surfaces (without cavities or gaps) - irrespective of the installation position make the valve suitable for easy and safe outside cleaning.
Easy handling – for service and maintenance
Simple and easy on-site service and maintenance are built-in features. Special attention has been given to the easy replacement of the bellows and to changing the pneumatic actuator to the reversed operation mode (spring-to-close / spring-to-open). All applications require a few standard tools only.
High quality surfaces
High quality surfaces are essential in sterile process applications in order to achieve a safe and reliable process. The STERICOM® Valve’s product-contact areas have an inside surface finish of Ra < or = 0,8 µm as a standard, (electrolytic polishing is an option) and a bright or fine ground external surface finish. External surfaces in a higher quality are available on request.
