Effective by 1 January 2008 GEA Tuchenhagen has acquired the French company Univalve S.A.R.L. , located in Schiltigheim near Strasbourg.
Univalve has a comprehensive valve range also named Univalve. This program includes single seat, mixproof and sterile valves. The main product is the Univalve mixproof valve with isolation chamber. These mixproof valves are availble in the size range of DN 25 up to DN 150. In total nine different sizes can be supplied.
By this acquisition GEA Tuchenhagen is enabled to offer a wider valve range to the market.
